I like to call Aloe Vera, the undervalued house plants. These plants are found growing in almost every household yet most house owners(including me) pay little attention to its beauty properties. Called “plant of immortality” by ancient Egyptians, Aloe Vera contains antibacterial and soothing properties making it perfect for a variety of cures. It is gentle on sensitive skin and packed with vitamins, enzymes, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants such as vitamins A (beta-carotene), C and E, B12, folic acid and salicylic acid which is good for treating acne.
Aloe Vera can be incorporated into your hair, beauty and skincare regimen. Benefits of using it as a skincare product include fighting skin ageing, hydrating your skin and lightening skin blemishes and acne scars. I took it a step further when I decided to make own DIY Aloe Vera Toner since using just the gel on my face made it feel dry.
Ingredients: Aloe Vera Plant Distilled or Filtered Water
Process: Split the Aloe Vera plant open and scrape the gel into a container then make it with a little water. Shake and Refrigerate.
Use: After washing your face with a cleanser, partially air dry your face. Then pour your toner into a cotton ball and wipe in circular motions. Apply your moisturizer as a final step.

Final Words Depending on how much toner you make, it can last up to 30 days, just remember to keep in refrigerated. My acne has started to clear up since using this mixture but I will keep you updated on my progress.
Thank you for making it to the end. I will like to know if you have any DIY Toners and any favourite skin care products. Clear skin is the best base for your foundation.
